We all have hopes, dreams and aspirations. For many, those hopes are hidden or buried so deep within us that they may never see the light of day.
Why do you think your dreams are not being realized? What needs to happen in order for you to take the cover off your hopes, dust them off and put them on prominent display? Would this act leave you vulnerable? Is it possible that you believe your aspirations are not attainable? Just what is your wildest hope or dream?
I would hypothesize that by keeping your dreams quiet or hidden, you might be protecting yourself against criticism or other negative impact. Plants won’t grow and meet their full potential in the dark and must be brought to the light in order to maximize the opportunity for growth. According to Wikipedia, “Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy, normally from the Sun, into chemical energy that can be later released to fuel the organisms’ activities.” Your dreams should be treated in the same fashion. Bring your hopes to the light, expose your aspirations to the photosynthesis for your dreams and allow your hopes to reap the benefit of energy that will be converted into its maximum growth potential.
Your dreams deserve to be brought to light and treated as precious and important. Your brilliant future is waiting for you to move your dreams beyond the wish list and instead have enough faith in yourself and the process along with your actions and allow those dreams to reach their highest peak.
Dreams can remain an activity in just your head. I suggest that you move our dreams from our head and nuture them in our hearts until you can speak confidently and believe with authority that your hopes and dreams are worth vigorously pursuing with all that is within you.
Dream big. Dream bold. Dream outside of the box. And keep in mind that as your dreams spread and grow, others beside you will be the beneficiary.
